Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Purchase / Procurement Executive to manage the procurement of electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, consumables, and packaging materials. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management, negotiation, follow-up, and ERP/MRP experience.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, consumables, and packaging materials.
Identify, develop, evaluate, and manage reliable vendors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, MOQ, lead time, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Ensure timely availability of materials according to production requirements.
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement documentation.
Follow up with suppliers regarding orders, shortages, delays, and delivery commitments.
Monitor supplier delivery performance and resolve procurement-related issues.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, and Finance teams.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better commercial terms.
Develop alternate vendors to reduce supply risks and improve competitiveness.
Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP/MRP transactions.
Track pending orders and ensure timely closure of procurement activities.
Required Skills
Strong vendor development and supplier relationship management skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
Good knowledge of procurement processes and purchase documentation.
Ability to manage multiple suppliers and purchase requirements simultaneously.
Good understanding of electronic and mechanical components.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
Strong follow-up, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
