The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall purchasing and procurement operations of the organization
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, products, and services
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
• Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proven experience in procurement or purchase management
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good knowledge of supply chain and inventory management
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
