We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and maintain smooth IT operations within the organization. The candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals
Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and applications
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
Manage user accounts, email setup, and access permissions
Install antivirus, security updates, and system patches
Support remote users through remote desktop tools
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and maintenance
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems
Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
Experience with Active Directory and user account management
Knowledge of printer setup and troubleshooting
Familiarity with MS Office and Outlook configuration
Understanding of IT security best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Certifications like CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft certification preferred
Good communication and problem-solving skills
