We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and maintain smooth IT operations within the organization. The candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network-related issues.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and applications

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues

  • Manage user accounts, email setup, and access permissions

  • Install antivirus, security updates, and system patches

  • Support remote users through remote desktop tools

  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation

  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repair and maintenance
     

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems

  • Basic understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP

  • Experience with Active Directory and user account management

  • Knowledge of printer setup and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with MS Office and Outlook configuration

  • Understanding of IT security best practices
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft certification preferred

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
